Time Management and Media Strategy (for Young Architects)

Saran Kim is an inspiring and highly-motivated architecture graduate from Melbourne, of Japanese heritage. Her attitude towards pursuing architectural learning and connections outside of compulsory study has caught the eye of many notable architects within our industry. Saran’s efforts to journal her experiences (both in written and sketch format) and share them via her blog and social media demonstrates an approach that is undoubtedly laying the foundation for an incredible architectural career.

I invited Saran to speak to a group of architects on the topics of Time Management and Media Strategy for young architects. Of course, she refined this material into a format that she could republish. Below is a copy of her article (and access to the free worksheets) which was originally published here on 6.6.22.

Talking About Time Management and Media Strategies

On the 4th of May, I had an opportunity to share my thoughts and approaches to time management and media strategies at The Architect Project member roundtable session.

Many ideas I included in the presentation were something I learned from my mentors, reading books, and trial and error. I’m sure I’ll continue to develop them in years to come, and new approaches might arise as my lifestyle changes.

I’ve received requests for the presentation slides from my friends after I shared the experience on Instagram – I’ve consolidated the information and produced info sheets. Please feel free to share around!
